"Conference Sunnism – Shiism"
The Egmont Institute, CISMOC/Ciscow (Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Islam in the Modern World) and MENARG invite paper proposals for their conference on contemporary Sunni and Chi'a relations to be held at the Egmont Palace in Brussels (Belgium) September 30th to October 2nd 2009. The aim of this conference is to understand and analyze the turn that seems to be currently taking place in the Middle East, from the Arab Mediterranean to Iran, resulting from the change in the relationships between Shiites and Sunnis.
